The Montreal Alouettes have added former CFL and NFL quarterback Jeff Garcia to their offensive coaching staff, the team announced Monday. Baltimore Orioles Gear . We feel that by tapping into Jeffs knowledge, he will be another key addition in getting our season turned around." The announcement comes a week after the Alouettes hired CFL Hall of Fame coach Don Matthews and former NFL quarterback and offensive co-ordinator Turk Schonert as consultants. Higgins added that Garcias experience played a major role in the teams decision to sign the former pivot. "The addition of Jeff is ideal because he brings the expertise hes gained over his professional years from so many different systems. We are very excited to welcome Jeff to our coaching staff in his coaching debut. His CFL knowledge and comprehension of the game are key qualities that are going to be invaluable for us to improve as a team in the upcoming weeks.
